First Grade Music Fun!
The kids have started some IMPROVISING in music class. We've talked about creating a piece of music, not just banging on instruments. Some of them have been extra considerate in their creations by paying attention to rhythm, melodic direction and patterns. I really could not be more proud of them. I know it sounds like a simple task, but improvising can be daunting even for an adult (it is for me!) and they really were great!
